A Bird's Eye View on Bird Trivias

Sometimes we wish we're free as a bird. We just spread our wings and fly endlessly in the skies. Birds are very interesting animals and you'll surely be more interested if you find out amazing facts about some of them.

*The Albatross has a wing span of up to 14 feet and only needs to land once every couple of years to breed. They can travel hundreds of thousands of miles each flight.

*An albatross is able to sleep and fly at the same time.

*If an average man had a metabolism comparable to that of a hummingbird he would have
to eat 285 pounds of hamburger every day to maintain his weight.

*Owls turn their heads in almost a circle because they cannot move their eyes. Their
eyeballs are not round like ours. They are tubular.

*The female cuckoo bird destroys eggs in other bird's nests and replaces them with her own. The eggs are instinctively cared for by the mother of the destroyed eggs.

* Birds actually dream when they sleep. According to research conducted by the University of Chicago, they dream about their songs, have dream rehearsals, and sing the same songs better the next day.

*A flamingo must turn its head upside down to eat.

*All of the swans in England are the property of the queen. Disturbing or bothering
them is considered a serious offense.

Birds are just amazing that is why people admire them and owners love them so much. If you have a bird, be sure to protect and care for them with only the safe and reliable pet supplies.

"A bird doesn't sing because it has an answer, it sings because it has a song."
